I described my experience to my husband after seeing Jeff Beers show thusly:
Jeff Beer’s work struggles out from under the layered canvas, where undulating subterranian essence is held captive in resin.
Look at it once , look at it twice look at it three times and it draws one back again and again to see what is lurking in the work.
His creations are volcanic, as one feels the push of creatures,nature trying to emerge from it all leaving one with the essence of topographic upheaval resulting in the loss of ones self to art…
Very moving and emotional
